Congratulations Chad!

Chad has been working extremely hard this semester. His time has not really been his own. He has been pulled in a million directions, but he hasn't let it get the best of him. On Friday, April 18th Chad had his Thesis defense. He passed with flying colors and is glad to have it under his belt. We love him and are so proud of him and his accomplishment! Congratulations Chad!

Like Father, Like Daughter

Chad loves olives and as it turns out, Emily does too. She especially loves putting them on her fingers. Last night I was cutting up olives for a pasta dish for dinner and Emily would have eaten all of them if given the chance. When it was time for dinner, she proceeded to pick out all of the olives one by one and eat them, before eating the pasta and broccoli. What a silly girl!

Happy Birthday Nana!

Today is my Chad's mom's birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!
We love you and can't wait to see you in June!

Love,
Chad, Amy and Emily

P.S.- I tried my hardest to get Emily to look at the camera and smile.
She was too busy exploring to look my way. Just know that she was saying,"Nana, Nana, Nana" while we were taking the pictures! :-)

National Champs!

From early in this year's basketball season, I thought KU had a legitimate shot at winning it all. Luckily we were here to witness the most exciting championship game in a long time and be part of the basketball excitement all year. It's fun to follow a championship team. Luckily, Amy gave me permission to enjoy 8 KU games from the student section in Allen Fieldhouse in this historic season. Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
